Elia Antonia completed her doctorate of Education from St. John’s University and a Master of Arts in English Language Teaching from Adelphi University. She taught higher education at St. John’s University, the University of Florida, Santa Fe College, the University of Southern California, as well as the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles.
She taught as a New York City K-12 English Language Specialist for 15 years, and was the Project Director for the immigration program the New York City Department of Education. She has cultivated the International ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) program at Kings Colleges in Los Angeles along with Cambridge Colleges.
She dedicated her hard work, time and knowledge to Boca Raton Christian High School, teaching nearly up to 11,000 credit hours of AP English courses to over 40 students across a two year span.
Currently she resides in sunny South Florida, Boca Raton, working in family counseling with a heart for families and youth, along with guiding students through the process of AP college test prep.
